Well Baby and Immunisation Consultations
These are general consultations where your baby gets weighed, measured
and developmental milestones and nutrition are discussed with parents.
Any
general concerns and problems, such as breastfeeding, nappy rash, etc.
can also be discussed and addressed during these consultations.
The purpose and benefits of the different vaccinations (those
prescribed by the Department of Health as well as optional additional
recommended vaccines) are discussed with the parents so that they can
make informed decisions as to which vaccines they would like to be
administered to their baby.
Government vaccines are offered at no
charge and the private vaccines have to be purchased at the pharmacy prior
to the appointment.
Please note that we work with appointments and these need to be booked in advance.
Other Services
Older Child and Adult Vaccinations
We offer older child vaccinations in line with the government's Expanded Program of Immunizations as well as recommended additional vaccines.
Adult vaccinations can also be administered as required.
Antenatal Classes
Antenatal Classes are offered once a month, on a Saturday, as a full day in person package for expectant parents.
Dates for 2025: Last Saturday of every month (excluding December).
4D Pregnancy Scans
4D Pregnancy Scans are offered to expectant parents booked to deliver at Unitas Hospital as part of the Netcare Maternity Passport.
Scans are ideally done between week 27-32 of pregnancy.
Private scans can also be arranged.
